I’m outside of Omaha and the rain is coming down pretty strong. There calling for 30 mph winds with heavy rain and lightning on the route I’m taking up to Sioux Falls. Today is looking like a wash out. I’ll see how far I can get.

Other than the crazy rain I’ve been dealing with everything is good so far. I can’t upload the Hi Def pics with this phone so I need to pick up a netbook when I get to my brothers house. I can’t wait to get up north. Its only been 2 days but its been an awesome start to this trip. Thanks to all that are following along and for your comments. It feels like your all riding with me. Till tomorrow there best be coffee.

IOWA down pouring. Another advisory.

Woke up this morning to find out the shower does not work so I go load up the bike. I leave to get gas and run in to get coffee only to find out there coffee machine broke. Not a good way to start the day. At least the sun is shining.

I get into Ohio and everything looks great as I head towards Cleveland and the skys get black. I check into a hotel and the Tornado Sirens start blasting as the rain comes slamming down. Everyone starts freaking out at the hotel and I’m taking pictures. Anyway it blew by with no problems but holy cow what a rush.

Lot of rain today. Sun came out strong an hour ago. Just got into Ohio.

Today Im starting off at 9am, hope to be in Ohio sometime later today
